Celebrate Immigrants
We all know someone with immigration experience or have an immigrant heritage story of our own. This month we are excited to launch a series that celebrates our community’s unique immigrant experiences with #CelebrateImmigrants.
Every month the Vanderbilt Basic Sciences will release one video that highlights a unique immigrant experience. We hope that this campaign encourages our community to celebrate the monumental contributions that immigrants have made and continue to make within the School of Medicine Basic Sciences community. Each month we will feature a story that provides a platform for immigrants and their allies to share stories demonstrating how immigration benefits our communities, economy, and country.
June 2021 – Vivian Gama
