Giving Day 2019
April 4, 2019 is Giving Day! You can contribute directly to Vanderbilt University basic science research here.
Together, we can do something inspiring in one single day…
Vanderbilt University’s Giving Day on April 4, 2019 and we can make an immediate and meaningful difference for Basic Sciences.
During this exciting 24-hour annual event, I hope you will join me and make a gift of any size to the Basic Sciences.
When you do, you help talented students who are passionate about biomedical research and could not otherwise study at Vanderbilt. And your support helps our programs make further progress with innovations in teaching and discovery. So, ultimately, the power of our combined gifts reaches beyond campus to help people in local and global communities. That’s inspiring!
If you’re like me, you’re grateful for the commitment to excellence and supportive environment that exists at Vanderbilt. When we give back, we pay it forward!
As an extra incentive, Dean Marnett has offered to add $10,000 to the funds raised if we reach 100 donors that day!
Thanks in advance for your thoughtful support on Giving Day—be a part of it!
Warmest regards,
Bruce Carter, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry
