Dr. Ascano is also the\u00a0Associate Professor or Pathology, Microbiology &amp; Immunology, the\u00a0Director of Graduate Studies for Biochemistry, and\u00a0Dean Faculty Fellow. His research focuses on\u00a0DNA\/RNA detection and regulation in innate immunity &amp; viral pathogenesis.
