Many of our students are supported on a T15 Training Grant from the NLM. We work with all students to ensure funding for their graduate training.\u00a0Funding opportunities include our <a href=\"https:\/\/medschool.vanderbilt.edu\/biomedical-informatics\/research-ms-and-phd-program\/funding-opportunities\/\">National Library of Medicine Biomedical Informatics Training Grant<\/a>\u00a0and postdoctoral research fellowships, as well as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vumc.org\/dbmi\/va-post-doctoral-fellowship-medical-informatics-quality-improvement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VA Post Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Informatics &amp; Quality Improvement<\/a>.<strong>NLM Training Grant<\/strong>The department of Biomedical Informatics has a National Library of Medicine Training Grant that supports a limited number of students, including:Predoctoral PhD Degree Students<br \/>Postdoctoral MS Students<br \/>Postdoctoral Nondegree Fellowships<strong>Eligibility<\/strong>The training grant supports US Citizens and Permanent Residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n <!-- rich-text -->\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our students are supported through a variety of funding mechanisms, ranging from training grants to research assistant positions on faculty research grants.
