Vanderbilt University School of Medicine\u2019s Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics (MS-ACI) program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA),CAHIIM monitors educational quality in health informatics, health informatics management, and health science degree programs nationwide. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEarning CAHIIM accreditation is a significant achievement for our MS-ACI program,\u201d said Program Director Scott Nelson, PharmD, MS. \u201cIt signifies our adherence to the highest standards of education, ensuring that our curriculum aligns with the rigorous requirements set forth by CAHIIM and incorporates the American Informatics Association (AMIA) core competencies.”<\/span><\/p>\n

One of only thirty-one master’s programs to receive CAHIIM health informatics accreditation, this prestigious recognition underscores Vanderbilt MS-ACI\u2019s commitment to excellence in health informatics education and its alignment with industry-leading standards. The Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics (MS-ACI) at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine is a virtual, 21-month program designed to equip working health care professionals with the expertise to lead transformative initiatives in clinical informatics, Focused on real-world application, the program combines cutting-edge informatics coursework with practical experience to address challenges in healthcare delivery, patient outcomes, and system efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n
