My work has focused on understanding how WDR5 inhibitors selectively kill certain types of leukemia cells and to understand if WDR5 inhibitors may have therapeutic benefit in other cancer types as well.

How Vanderbilt made an impact: The APSRIE program, particularly the ASPIRE modules, helped me to hone “soft skills” like networking and interpersonal communication. The VANTAGE flow cytometry core were also instrumental in allowing me to complete many of the studies in my first author publication.
