Can we target MYC-driven cancers by inhibiting the WDR5-MYC interaction with small molecules?

How Vanderbilt made an impact: Several cores were key for this research. For example, the Small Molecule NMR facility, which allowed me to characterize my compounds. The HTS Core group was also important as an HTS of the Vanderbilt library allowed us to discover the first compound to bind WDR5. The also kept track of the compounds synthesized and they would provide aliquots of the compounds when needed.

Next plans: For now I will continue in my Lab as a postdoc while I find a Job or other postdoc position
