2023 Scholar Symposium
The 3rd annual VITA symposium in Biomedical Sciences is designed to introduce senior graduate students to the research and resources at Vanderbilt and to help them develop skills that will enhance their postdoctoral career.
Program elements:
- Communication Training from the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. Through a layered series of applied improvisational and communication exercises, participants will explore and practice using communication strategies. Find out more here.
- An introduction to ASPIRE, the BRET office of professional development
- Opportunity to meet with current Vanderbilt postdocs
- Individual meetings with Vanderbilt research faculty members
- Learning about the Vanderbilt community and research resources
