The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine

Hosted By

Careers in Medicine

Hi VMS! Get ready to experience yoga, tai chi, mindful meditation and acupuncture at the Osher Center. Learn how these modalities might help your patients.

The Osher Center at Vanderbilt combines traditional medicine with complementary therapies to help patients cope with chronic conditions and enhance overall wellness. This introductory night of integrative medicine will allow medical students to take an interactive tour of the Osher Center and both practice meditation, tai chi, acupuncture, meditation, and massage as well as learn how these modalities can be used to improve the lives of patients. This is an incredible opportunity for any medical student interested in a holistic approach to health care to learn about the resources Vanderbilt has to offer. It will demonstrate ways that complementary practices can be incorporated into students’ own lives and future practice. The event will begin promptly at 6:00 pm with a discussion of integrative medicine led by Dr. Marni Hillinger over dinner.

Attendance is limited. Please RSVP to reserve a spot.

This event is co-sponsored by the CiM Integrative Medicine Interest Group and Vanderbilt Wellness Mind.
