Careers in Medicine

We are hosting an informal (and we hope engaging!) discussion of Paul Kalanithi's new book, When Breath Becomes Air. This memoir by a neurosurgeon who is faced with a terminal cancer diagnosis will serve as a starting point for discussion about the practice of medical oncology and what it means to treat patients who are faced with these kinds of prognoses. Also joining us will be faculty members from hematology/oncology and palliative care. Snacks provided!
