Have you noticed your shoulders tense up as you try to remember the steps of complement system activation? Are you feeling a bit pressured as you begin to figure out how to learn on the wards? Are you anxious about an exam or presentation in your first ISC or ACE, or your upcoming residency interviews?

Join the Integrative Medicine Interest Group and Wellness Mind for a relaxing session of massage. Taylor Koval, a massage therapist from the Vanderbilt Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, will come to Light Hall to teach basic techniques you can use on yourself or others to relax and decrease pain and tension.

This interactive session will focus on massage of the foot and the study of reflexology - how application of pressure on certain zones of the foot correlates with relaxation in distant parts of the body.

All are welcome. Come as an individual, or bring your friend or significant other to practice together. Massage cream and aromatic oils will be included (as will hand sanitizer :)
