Light Hall 208

Hosted By

Vanderbilt University School of Medicine

The tragic acts of violence over the last few weeks against innocent civilians and police officers has shaken our communities and disrupted our sense of peace. However, these events have also given us a chance to pause and reflect on issues of race, violence, and how we deal with these topics as individuals and as a collective community.

The administration and student body would like to open up a space to share thoughts, feelings, and reflections on Wednesday July 20th at 12pm in LH 208. This memorial service will be a chance to reflect, share a poem, sing a song, express your grief, or simply share in community support. Whether you are a member of the affected communities or an ally, all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please feel free to stop by during your lunch hour for 10, 15, or how ever many minutes you can spare.

Lunch will be provided for students who indicate they will attend.
