This is the second talk of the Vanderbilt Healthcare Improvement Group's "Quality Improvement Lecture Series." Students and faculty are invited to learn more about the complex nature of healthcare delivery and the direct impact actions have on patients through a discussion real-life examples of patient safety at Vanderbilt University. The talk will focus on prevention and quality improvement. Through this talk, participants will gain an understanding of how response to error can develop new systems to prevent future errors.
