Physicians for Human Rights

Join Physicians for Human Rights for our September meeting! We will be joined by Dr. Cody Chastain, an Internal Medicine physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases. We will be discussing viral hepatitis and therapies. Per Dr. Chastain:

"The high cost of new HCV therapies is a major challenge to health equity. Many people at greatest risk for complications & for spreading disease are precisely the people who have challenges accessing medication. Ultimately, this places  HCV and breakthrough therapies for its treatment at the center of the controversy of whether healthcare is a right, in the heart of where cost efficacy and public health intersect."

We hope you'll join us for this exciting conversation!
