Careers in Medicine

Plastic and reconstructive surgery is a unique specialty that defies definition, has no organ system of its own, and is based on principles rather than specific procedures. This allows the plastic surgeon to solve unusual problems, to operate from the top of the head to the tip of the toe, to apply known procedures to other body parts, and to be innovative. Come talk to Dr. Bruce Shack, chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt, and other faculty as we chat about the field. We will also discuss events for this calendar year and residency applications for those interested. FREE SUBWAY and DRINKS for those that RSVP!
