Details

Every year, the Student Advisory Council (SAC) of VIGH hosts a global health case competition. The goal of the case competition is

to promote critical analysis and thoughtful collaboration among undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from across the

university. This spring, Vanderbilt students from a variety of disciplines will join to develop and propose feasible and innovative

solutions to a real-life global health case. Previously, the cases have covered topics such as family planning in Niger, mental health

in Egypt, and reconstructing the health system in Liberia post-Ebola.

By hosting this event, we hope that undergraduate and graduate students alike will develop critical skills in problem-solving,

teamwork, innovation, and career development. Additionally, the Case Competition will raise awareness for urgent needs in global

health.
