Andrea Eaddy, MD/Ph.D.

Dr. Eaddy completed the Physician-ScientistTraining Program (Harrison Society) at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2013, having received the Ph.D. training component in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, where he worked on oxidant-induced lipid peroxidation in the kidney. Prior to that he obtained his B.S. in Biological Sciences with Honors at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He joined the Vanderbilt Internal Medicine Residency in 2013 and started Gastroenterology training in 2015. He recently joined the Wilson Lab and will be investigating various sources of oxidative stress in the stomach in response to H. pylori infection and novel strategies to prevent gastric cancer.
