Pharmacology Faculty Position 

Department: Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences 

Campus: LIU Brooklyn 

The Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) invite applications for full time tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Pharmacology and Toxicology. 

The candidate will participate in academic, scholarly, and service functions within the University. The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly activities in collaboration with researchers both on and off campus, seek and obtain extramural funding for research, and conduct didactic teaching in both Pharm.D. and graduate programs. 

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology or a related field in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Applicants must demonstrate a potential for scholarly research, funding, and publications. A prior record of teaching at a College of Pharmacy or in a similar program in some capacity (Teaching assistants, Graduate assistant, Lecturer, Instructor, Assistant Professor, etc.) and/or experience in Toxicology or Medicinal Chemistry is preferred.
