Roche Diagnostics is hiring a Scientific Communications Coordinator with strong scientific communications experience. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate on healthcare & data analytics topics such as deep learning, machine learning, business models, database sources, legal and regulatory compliance considerations, data modeling process and flows. Roche Diagnostics has created a new strategic group charged with building a portfolio of Real World Data projects within Roche to identify business opportunities, enable efficient R&D efforts, facilitate the launch of new diagnostics products, and strengthen positioning of on-market products. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manages the strategic design, development, and execution of all internal communications materials (electronic and print) on-time, within budget and in alignment with business objectives 
  • Recommends, develops and implements informational & educational communications strategies, plans, schedules and programs that meet the RWD DIS teams’ business objectives 
  • Develops annual global internal communications plan that incorporates select roadmaps of select Roche & Genentech groups and projects. 
  • Works in close partnership with the Scientific team and PMO teams 
  • Serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all communications for the Real World Data group 
  • Contributes to the strategy and execution of key programs that are highly visible and have significant business impact 
  • Ensures compliance with content review and approval processes, and Roche brand & design standards 
  • Creates and maintains product websites, intranet content, and external facing websites in alignment and compliance with policies 
  • Coordinates and provides overall management of events, tradeshows, symposia, speaking engagements 
  • Consults on the use of proper branding, copyright, and trademarks 

Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree in either Communications/Public Relations, Business, or Science related discipline, Master’s degree preferred 
  • 5-8 years of product communications experience 
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing branding and awareness campaigns that achieve business objectives within a highly regulated industry
