Position Summary

We are seeking a Scientist in the area of Immunology. This individual will join the Antibody Technology group managed by the company’s CSO, and play a key role in developing CST’s technologies of the future. The successful candidate should have a strong background in cellular and molecular immunology with strong expertise in B and T cell biology, vaccine biology. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment to develop innovative immunization methods and antibody discovery technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of multiple research projects
  • Independently design, execute, troubleshoot and interpret scientific experiments
  • Work in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment
  • Initiate and lead internal and external research collaborations
  • Establish clear go/no go decision points for project(s)
  • Share and contribute scientific and technical expertise with team members
  • Clearly analyze and communicate scientific findings in written and verbal form
  • Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology
  • 2-5 years post graduate experience
  • Strong background in B cell biology, generation and analysis of immune response and antibody related methods
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute, and interpret scientific experiments
  • Experience writing, contributing to and publishing scientific papers

  • Previous work experience in biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical drug development
  • Expertise in molecular biology and next generation sequencing
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics tools to analyze B and T cell repertoires
