Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow, The Merryman Mechanobiology Laboratory, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN
The Merryman Mechanobiology Laboratory is looking for another postdoc interested in studying the role of cadherin-11 in heart failure. The ideal person will have expertise/interest in learning:
a) mouse models of heart failure (transaortic constriction);
b) bone marrow transplants;
c) flow assisted cell sorting (FACS) analysis of bone marrow, peripheral blood, and heart cells;
d) atomic force microscopy of ventricle wall.
This research will be supported by an ongoing NIH grant and Leducq Foundation Grant.
