UCSF is looking for a Director of Graduate Faculty Development!

This is a BRAND NEW position to develop a program of professional development opportunities and resources for faculty who mentor and supervise basic science PhD students. The Director will work in UCSF’s Graduate Division, in close collaboration with other Grad Div staff, the postdoc office, student health and counseling services, and other student support services to create, deliver and evaluate content. In the long-term the Director will work directly with faculty and university leaders to nucleate a campus community of those committed to graduate education mentorship (as mentors, researchers, educators, leaders), seeding a Center of Excellence in Graduate Education. It is initially for 2 years, but with a 3rd year renewal, and with potential for transitioning to a permanent role.
