Lilly Visiting Scientist Fellowship Program applications open
The Lilly Visiting Scientist Fellowship is a unique one-year, post-graduate program for Pharm.D., M.D., and relevant Ph.D. or master’s degree graduates. The program exposes fellows to a myriad of pharmaceutical functions and provides hands-on involvement with the drug development process. Fellows are assigned to one department yet work closely with other areas, enabling them to learn about medical, marketing, regulatory, and many other facets of drug development. The purpose of the fellowship is to develop well-rounded professionals who will discover and develop the next generation of drugs that will improve patients’ lives.
Fellows specialize in one of several functional areas, including Clinical Development, Commercial, Medical, Project Management, or Regulatory.
Application and Selection Process
To qualify, you must complete a Pharm.D., M.D./D.O., or relevant Ph.D. or master’s degree by June 2023, or have completed one no earlier that May 2020. Register for our webinar series to gain insights on the application process and the fellowship experience from VSF leadership, fellows, alumni, and HR.
Candidates may request a screening interview between September 14th and September 30th, by filling out and submitting the Screening Interview Form. Qualified candidates will receive an email inviting them to submit a formal application and participate in a screening interview. The screening process includes one 30-minute interview in Microsoft Teams with VSF program leadership in late September or ealy October and an invitation only virtual mixer in mid-October. Top candidates from the screening process will be invited and provided with directions to participate in an on-site second-round interviews during November. The final selection process is expected to be completed by mid-December.
