Individual Development Plans (IDP) – Asset or Nuisance? (What are they and how can they help you?)

Posted by on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Workshops and Seminars .

All postdocs are required to regularly put together and/or review and update their IDP. This workshop will address the IDP requirements and will discuss ways to effectively use the IDP in your career development. We will address questions such as: What exactly is an IDP? Why do you have to have an IDP? What does a good and useful IDP look like? How can you effectively use your IDP at this stage of your career?

This workshop is presented by Duco Jansen, Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Faculty Affairs in the School of Engineering.

Bring your lunch, and join Dean Jansen and the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs on Thursday, October 20 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in 044 Engineering and Science Building.

This will be a great session for postdocs at all career levels. RSVP here.
