Washington University School of Medicine recruiting Compass scholars for free online laboratory leadership program

Posted by on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in Announcements, Path to Career Resources .

Applications are now open for the spring 2023 Compass cohort, which begins on February 20! Compass will host the second cohort of scholars this February – a new online training and mentoring program to develop leadership and management skills for early-career biomedical researchers (junior faculty and postdocs welcome). This NIH-funded program focuses on practical skills and resources that are immediately applicable to program scholars. There is no cost to participate.

Compass includes both independent and team-based learning, as well as several live virtual events. The cohort launches on February 20, and the foundational training will run for 10 weeks. Compass balances structure and flexibility to meet the needs of busy researchers. After the foundational training, scholars remain a member of the Compass community and receive ongoing mentoring. More info/Apply.
