Pint of Science Nashville: An International Festival of Scientific Research
Pint of Science is an international festival that aims to bring the latest scientific research to the public in an accessible and engaging format through presentations held in bars, pubs, cafés, and other community spaces.
Established in 2013 by a community of postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers, Pint of Science has grown into a global movement supported by thousands of volunteers who are passionate about sharing new and exciting scientific discoveries with everyday audiences, regardless of prior scientific background.
This year, Pint of Science Nashville will be held at Fait La Force Brewing on May 18, 19, and 20. The event will feature discussions and research focused on topics including Alzheimer’s disease, disease-causing bacteria, the hidden mysteries of the galaxy, and more. Each evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., will include two talks followed by trivia and opportunities to win prizes!
Several Vanderbilt University postdoctoral researchers and faculty members will also be speaking throughout the festival.
More information about each evening, as well as $2 tickets, is available on the official Pint of Science Nashville website.
