Course Offering: Introduction to Clinical Research Methods for Basic Scientists 

Registration is now open for Introduction to Clinical Research Methods for Basic Scientists, a one-credit course designed to introduce practical tools and approaches that facilitate translational research.

The course combines didactic instruction and case-based learning through 12 one-hour sessions, each led by a basic scientist or physician-scientist with expertise in translational research. The course is designed to help basic scientists explore how clinical and translational approaches can be incorporated into their research.

During the final session, students will develop and present a proposal describing how they could incorporate a clinical or translational component into their own research program using the concepts and methods covered throughout the course.
