Be a part of the conversation on the future of science and technology policy with leaders in the field this May 1 and 2 in Washington, DC. The annual AAAS Forum on Science & Technology Policy is the conference for people interested in public policy issues facing the science, engineering, and higher education communities. It is the place where insiders go to discuss what is happening and what is likely to happen on the federal budget and policy issues that affect researchers and institutions. The forum is for everyone touched by science and technology policy - from students and science writers to policymakers and industrial R&D managers.

New this year is a special session, "How does STEAM promote economic innovation and competitiveness?" organized in part by fellows in our STArt (Science, Technology, and Art) Affinity Group. STEM + Art = STEAM. STEAM is a movement aiming to drive innovation by transforming research policy to place art and design at the center of STEM, and encourage integration of art and design in schools.
