Citizen Science is a scientific literacy program required of all first year students at Bard College, regardless of intended major.  Held in January, this intense academic program introduces our students to scientific thinking by engaging them in problem-based learning classroom, computing and laboratory experiences. We are currently accepting applications from excellent scientists with a demonstrated interest in excellent undergraduate education. For full consideration, applications must be received by 4/25/16.  Applications will be reviewed upon receipt, and we will continue to accept applications after 4/25 until all positions are filled. More information can be found at our website (http://citizenscience.bard.edu/), and the job posting can be found at http://www.bard.edu/employment/descriptions/?listing_id=3835956

P.S. from the Vanderbilt ASPIRE program: This opportunity fits well with the goals of the ASPIRE internship program. Vanderbilt biomedical sciences students who apply and are accepted to be Citizen Science faculty may be eligible for an ASPIRE travel scholarship to defray travel expenses not covered by the Citizen Science program. If you're interested in a career in college teaching, this is a great opportunity to get some key experience and build out your CV!
