Insomniac’s Paradise: A Sleep-Inducing Foray into the World of Patents

The Life Science Tennessee Academic Alliance announces the next installment of the Accelerate Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship series, taking place November 19 at 5:30pm in the Owen Graduate School of Management Room 230. “Insomniac’s Paradise: A Sleep-Inducing Foray into the World of Patents” will be presented by Alan Bentley, M.S., Assistant Vice Chancellor of the Vanderbilt Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization. Learn everything you need to know about intellectual property, or fall asleep trying. This seminar will touch upon the basics of the patent system, covering items such as patentable subject matter, cost, timetables, and enforceability. Non-US patenting systems will be touched upon, as well as other forms of intellectual property. Advance registration is requested.
