Wake Forest Innovations Seeks Scientist/Entrepreneurs for New Product Innovation Positions. Wake Forest Innovations, the commercial arm of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is currently recruiting two positions: an Associate Director of Innovation and anInnovation Associate for its Product Innovation and Commercialization unit.
Associate Director candidates should be senior or established translational scientists with hands-on business expertise who can effectively facilitate, promote and support the identification and development of innovative products and intellectual property. Areas of scientific and/or medical expertise of particular interest include cancer, neuroscience, immunology, and materials technology. Innovation Associate candidates should be scientists with postdoctoral research and/or professional experience in pharmaceutical, biomedical, or engineering research and development, business development, entrepreneurial development, consulting, or the equivalent. A working knowledge of translational research in biomedicine, chemistry, engineering, and/or nanotechnology, and of product innovation and development is essential.
