Job Opportunity: Neuroscience Imaging Analyst, VUMC, Nashville, TN

The Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center is accepting applications for a Neuroscience Imaging Analyst for immediate hire. The analyst will work with research faculty, imaging scientists, and the Center Director to develop and implement protocols for processing neuroimaging research data. The analyst will also facilitate grant and manuscript preparation and supervise trainees for a large NIH clinical research portfolio under the guidance of the Center Director.

The position emphasizes clinical (human subjects) research focused on investigating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risk factors for abnormal cognitive aging, including mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. The position provides an excellent opportunity to refine one’s programming and image processing skillset as well as scientific writing and clinical research leadership skills while working with an interdisciplinary team of more than 20 faculty, staff, and trainees.
