POSTDOCTORAL POSITION in CENTROSOME BIOLOGY at the National Institutes of Health/ National Cancer Institute/Center for Cancer research-Frederick, USA.
A fully funded postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Centrosome Biology group in the Laboratory of Protein Dynamics and Signaling at the NIH, USA.
We combine advanced biochemical and cell biology approaches to study centrosome biogenesis and their ultra-structure and function in normal and cancer conditions. Fellows interested in microscopy will benefit from an outstanding training in cell biology and various modalities of advanced microscopy; multicolor live cell imaging, super-resolution microscopy (SIM, STORM), correlative light/electron microscopy, and laser microsurgery.
Requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in molecular/cell biology or equivalent and not more than two years of postdoctoral experience.
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates interested in cell biology, cell cycle, centrosome biology and/or microscopy. Candidates must have a strong command of molecular and cell biology techniques, biochemistry, and mammalian tissue culture. The candidates should have proven analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
