The Vanderbilt University Division of Nephrology and Hypertension is accepting competitive applications for a renewable one-year postdoctoral fellowship in Vascular and Cancer Biology. Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D., MD, or other advanced degree in life sciences and a track record of mentored research and publications in Vascular and/or Cancer Biology. During the fellowship period, the successful candidate will determine the roles of cytochrome P450-derived lipids in angiogenesis and lung cancer progression.        

It is expected that the successful candidate will be eligible and actively compete for an NIH career development award (K01 or K08) during the fellowship and continue the investigations during the early phase of transition to independence.
