A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Guo’s laboratory for studying the molecular and physiological mechanisms of Type 2 Diabetes and associated heart failure, focusing on actions of insulin and glucagon in liver or adrenergic receptor signaling in heart. The position requires a M.D. with research experience or Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, and mouse genetics. The candidate must have rich basic research experience in liver metabolism or cardiac biology and strong research publication record, highly motivated for research productivity in our NIH-supported programs. The salary is up to $47,250 plus fringe benefit dependent on experience.
