A postdoctoral position is available in the Regenerative Medicine Laboratory of Sabine Fuhrmann at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute to study mammalian eye development, morphogenesis and regeneration. Research in the lab focuses on tissue interactions and cellular signaling. Details about current research can be found at

The lab moved recently and we look forward to a highly motivated, creative and passionate team member. Successful candidates must have a PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent with at least one first-author publication from their graduate work and strong research background in molecular, cell or developmental biology. Candidates with less than 2 years of postgraduate work are specifically encouraged to apply.
