The Vanderbilt University Medical Center division of Clinical Pharmacology seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to join funded research program examining small RNAs as biomarkers of and mediators of inflammatory autoimmune disease and cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities may include small RNA sequencing, microarrays, qPCR, cell-based assay development and optimization, small animal model studies, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
The position is available for recent PhD graduates. The right candidate will have experience in small RNAs, cell culture experiments, and small animal model studies. Background in small RNAs, microbiome, cardiovascular biology, immunology, and some statistics/bioinformatics is encouraged.
