Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science (VUIIS) wishes to recruit a creative and motivated postdoctoral fellow to develop and apply advanced computational methods in positron emission tomography (PET) for brain imaging applications in Alzheimer’s disease.

 

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with degrees in physics, biomedical engineering or other relevant areas and has experience in PET, such as image reconstruction, simulation and analysis. Most of the studies will focus on characterizing spatial patterns in Amyloid beta PET images and their validation. The ideal candidate should also be willing to dedicate one to two years toward this advanced fellowship and to take forward ambitious neuroimaging research strategies.
