Scientist II – Research and Development – The Scientist II in the Research and Development (R&D) division of Insight Genetics is responsible for initiation, execution, and oversight of feasibility and early phase development studies. Projects include biomarker discovery, technology evaluation and implementation, and molecular biology services to support diagnostic development. This role is dynamic and laboratory-focused. Demonstrated experience with molecular techniques is required. The Scientist II will work across a number of projects related to assay design for qPCR and next-generation sequencing tests. This role will also contribute to early phase projects requiring cell culture, molecular cloning, nucleic acid preparation, high-throughput assay, histology and bioinformatics experience.
