The Quest for Women's Empowerment luncheon, Oct 29

On Thursday October 29, scholar-practitioner Pamela O’Leary will be speaking on “The Quest for Women’s Empowerment.” O’Leary will be talking about leadership development and career opportunities for women in settings as diverse as the United Nations, Capitol Hill, and grassroots organizations. O’Leary will share her diverse experiences from the field, including drafting legislation, directing leadership projects and networks, conducting research and policy analysis, and developing and facilitating leadership training for women. After the talk, O’Leary will be spending time talking with students about professional development; this portion of the event is scheduled to begin at 1:45, but people are free to come and go as their schedules dictate.
