Johns Hopkins University, a CIRTL member, is hosting a three-day, in-person teaching institute for graduate students and postdocs to learn about and develop their own evidence-based STEM teaching skills. The institute is open to CIRTL members, and will take place at the Johns Hopkins campus in Baltimore. Read more about the institute at http://cer.jhu.edu/teaching-academy/ti/overview.
Johns Hopkins will run two iterations of the institute, one at its East Baltimore campus, from Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1, and the other at its Homewood campus, from Tuesday, June 6 through Thursday, June 8. Registration is open through May 22; interested students are encouraged to sign up soon as both offerings are filling up quickly. Johns Hopkins will cover the cost of registration, lodging, meals, and materials. Participants are responsible for travel costs, with the exception of parking.
