Tech Venture Challenge

Overview: The TechVenture Challenge is an exciting opportunity for graduate and professional students to learn about the process of technology commercialization! Over the course of 8-weeks, student teams will develop mock commercialization plans based on protected Vanderbilt technologies. Each team will receive guidance from community business mentors, Vanderbilt faculty, and the Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CTTC). The TechVenture Challenge culminates in a final competition where teams pitch their plans to a panel of industry professionals for a cash prize!

IDEAS Showcase: Tech Venture Challenge kicks-off with this event, where faculty inventors will briefly present their technologies. These technologies are from a variety of disciplines including engineering, science, and computer science. Teams will be formed after this event, based on the skill set and preferences. Teams are typically comprised of science, engineering, business and law students.

IDEAS Showcase will be on Feb 4th 5:30 pm in Averbuch Auditorium (Room 110) in the Owen Management School.
