The Trump administration has posted information about its Office of Science of Technology Policy internship program and is currently seeking applicants. Although applications are accepted on a rolling basis for fall, spring, and summer terms, the summer 2017 application deadline is this Wednesday, March 15. According to the website, “serving as an OSTP intern provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior White House officials and S&T policy analysts in OSTP's policy division or on OSTP's legal team.”   ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

TWISTER (Tennessee Women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Research) is a daylong professional conference for high school girls, presented by women working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Research) professions. Adventure Science Center’s Education Department seeks an intern to assist with planning and coordinating the TWISTER 2017 conference event to take place on February 11, 2017. The TWISTER Intern will sit on the TWISTER planning committee and play an integral role in presenter and volunteer acquisition, session planning, and data analysis.

The TS Alliance is seeking an intern volunteer to help in the planning of the biennial International Research Conference on TSC and LAM, which will take place in Washington, DC, June 22-24, 2017. This three-day event will be held in partnership with the LAM Foundation and will bring together approximately 250 researchers and medical doctors who will share information on the latest treatment and testing options as well as basic and translational research updates. The intern will also have the opportunity to support the TS Alliance in planning for an externally-led patient-focused drug development meeting (PFDD) with the FDA, to take place in Washington, DC, on June 21, 2017, the day before the research conference begins.
