This month's networking event for the Life Science TN-Academic Alliance is going to differ from the usual Beer with Biotech.  Day on the Hill is happening all day on February 9th and all who are interested are encouraged to attend (see the Life Science TN website for more details).  However those looking for an opportunity to meet with members of the TN life science industry and state legislators are welcome to come to the LST Day on the Hill Reception. There will be free food, free beer/wine and it is sure to be a GREAT networking opportunity!

The annual case competition is organized by the VIGH Student Advisory Council and is designed to engage students in real-world global health challenges by introducing them to diverse factors that impact decision-making.  The goal of the case competition is to foster critical analysis and thoughtful action. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from across the university participate in multidisciplinary, multi-school teams to tackle a real-life global health case, working together to develop an innovative solution.
