<\/a>What is the difference between BRET Office of Career Development and ASPIRE?<\/strong><\/p>\n Nothing! Actually, in 2013, the BRET Office of Career Development within the Vanderbilt School of Medicine was recognized for its commitment to career development for biomedical sciences PhD students and postdocs through a BEST award, a $1.2 million, 5-year grant from the NIH Common Fund. This award was called ASPIRE, which stands for A<\/u>ugmenting\u00a0S<\/u>cholar\u00a0P<\/u>reparation and\u00a0I<\/u>ntegration with\u00a0R<\/u>esearch-Related\u00a0E<\/u>ndeavors. (Academia loves acronyms!) The Office continues this programming still, and we use the names interchangeably.<\/p>\n <\/a>Where is the BRET Office located?<\/strong> View Light Hall in Google Maps<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a>I am interested in ASPIRE Travel Scholar Funds.
