The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is the largest general scientific society in the world. The fellowship program offers hands-on opportunities to apply your scientific knowledge and technical skills to important societal challenges. As a fellow, you will serve a yearlong assignment in a selected area of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the federal government in Washington, D.C., enhancing your professional influence by tackling problems and participating in policy development and implementation.<\/p>\n
