Details and signup\u00a0information will be sent prior to each workshop. Learning and practicing various\u00a0strategies, such as language journals and key word tracking, for retaining academic vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>16 October: Writing about Sources in Academic English<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Delving deeper into Paraphrasing\/Quoting\/Summarizing techniques, with an emphasis on scholarly\u00a0tone and author positioning. Examining effective literature synthesis styles and correct verb tenses\/reporting verbs in discipline-specific fields.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>6 November: The Language of Data Commentaries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Exploring effective ways to read and write data commentaries.
