This module will help you jumpstart your research training, with the topics and tools helping you understand yourself, your colleagues, how to work in diverse team situations, and make effective decisions. The module will present a unique distillation of the tools, skills and understanding needed to be successful as a strong leader of your graduate career and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong> Students completing this module will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify their own strengths and develop strategies for personal growth.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize contextual clues to enhance their effectiveness as individuals and team members.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage projects and participate in problem identification and resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively participate in teams and projects toward better outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to start mentorship and leadership roles.<\/li>\n<li>Think critically and communicate persuasively toward the objective of implementing solutions and managing to better outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Instructors<\/b>: Kathy Gould, PhD,\u00a0Associate Dean for Biomedical Sciences and Louise B.
