We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to fill a regional position within our growing Clinical Applications Neurosurgical team in North America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For new and existing centers, the person in this role will train and guide clinical personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in onsite treatment support to develop and promote the knowledge base of users in the designated region<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate expertise and in-depth understanding in all aspects of the technology<\/li>\n<li>Create technical and clinical documentation in form of reports, presentations and operating procedures<\/li>\n<li>Act as the technical liaison between INSIGHTEC and clinical users<\/li>\n<li>Travel Domestically (primarily) and internationally (on occasion) &#8211; 60% of the time.<\/li>\n<li>Periodically works weekends and nights and may be required to engage in overnight travel<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related activities, as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s\/ Master\u2019s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience or Medical Physics<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in one of the following specialty areas: MRI, ultrasound, Operating Room<\/li>\n<li>Experience in guidance of medical personnel and with complex multi-disciplinary products \u2013 advantage<\/li>\n<li>Creative; Able to find optimal techno-clinical solutions to first-time-seen problems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform well under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Able to lecture in front of large audiences<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel 60-70% of time, including weekends, sometimes with short notice and at times internationally<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and passport,\u00a0<em>preferred<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Only qualified applicants will be considered<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clinical Applications Specialist https:\/\/www.insightec.com\/us Apply here:https:\/\/www.insightec.com\/us\/about-us\/careers-1 If you plan to apply, please let Ashley Brady know- ashley.brady@vanderbilt.edu Location:\u00a0North East Region of the US The Clinical Applications Specialist position provides a dynamic and challenging multi-disciplinary working opportunity.
