Essay Challenge: \u201cReimagine Biomedical Research for a Healthier Future.\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n

With the goal to accelerate discovery, the Health Research Alliance and\u00a0PLOS<\/a>\u00a0present the\u00a0Essay Challenge: \u201cReimagine Biomedical Research for a Healthier Future.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 In addition to cash prizes, winners will be published in PLOS and highlighted in an HRA-hosted webinar. Details can be found\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The community is encouraged to submit succinct 1500-word essays proposing bold, collaborative, systemic changes that re-commit to serving society and achieving an equitable, diverse, and creative environment for all those working to advance scientific discovery and improve human well-being. The winning essay will be published in either PLOS Biology or PLOS Medicine, and runners up will be published on the PLOS Blogs network\u00a0 — and there are also cash prizes.<\/p>\n

The link to apply, all criteria, context, and eligibility details are provided in the\u00a0announcement<\/a>. The deadline for submissions is\u00a0March 11, 2021.<\/p>\n
